3/4 Ton Command Car WC 56 restoration - page 4

The final pieces ready for paint. Rear fenders were repaired from damage and front bumper was in the press to be straightened. All came out great.

The front fenders were not damaged or rusty, so epoxy primer and final paint. We installed an NOS hood hinge to the center halves.

The new MWM reproduction map table and trim panel assembly ready for paint. The wood table was in the paint booth.

Final paint on the last pieces of the project.

Most of the pieces were installed. Hard to see, but both running boards, spare carrier, windshield frame, battery box, bumper gussets were all installed. We have the radiator and the rest of the engine parts installed and the motor is running with 60 psi of oil pressure. Started immediately and only needed idle adjustment. It sure is nice when they do that, but what do you expect after putting all those new parts on, right?
